PREPARE AIR CONDITIONER FOR INSTALLATION FIX THE EXPANDABLE PANELS ON THE AIR CONDITIONER BEOFRE PLACING THE UNIT IN THE WINDOW. NOTE: Bottom and side rails are factory installed. 1. INSTALLING THE AIR CONDITIONER Center the air conditioner in the window opening with the lower rail of the unit behind and against the back side of the window sill. UNIT OPERATION Once the air conditioner is properly installed, follow these operating instructions: Plug the unit into a grounded outlet. Do not use an extension cord or an adapter plug. In Cooling mode, when turning your air conditioner off, always wait at least 3 minutes before turning it back on.- Page 17 ENERGY SAVER MODE This feature can be used when the air conditioner is in COOL mode. On this mode, the air conditioner cycles on and off to maintain the set temperature. This feature is recommended when the room is unoccupied. Note: The fan and the compressor may not cycle on and off simultaneously.

AIR DIRECTION CONTROLS AIR DIRECTION Depending on the model of your air conditioner, use the tab to direct the airflow right or left or rotate the horizontal louvers to direct the airflow up or down.
